On Tuesday 13th September 2005 the Club had a very impressive conducted tour of Blackpool Pit, St Stephens by Mr Ivor Bowditch of Imerys. We filled a large coach and had an excellent time touring the working pits and refinery, also the huge engine that runs the standby generator and also saw the beam engine. All were kitted out with Imerys safety gear |
