CTC Spring Crank Up
21st and 22nd April 2007

It started off very quietly on Friday afternoon at Sue and Gary Morcoms at High Street, but by Saturday Morning it had started to fill up

The tractors started to arrive, so did the stationary engines

Geoff brought his Trader and all the time we were being watched by the residents

Who I suppose were wondering what was happening, but when people arrived they just "chilled out"

Bought a new T Shirt or just or just admired the stunning views across to the north coast

But on Saturday night things changed (only able to show this picture of the outside of the marquee to save embarrassment) On Sunday morning we awoke to a dull misty morning but then more tractors arrived for the "Drive it Day" and the weather perked up

And when they returned we all sat down for a superb roast lunch prepared, cooked and served by our wonderful group of Ladies.

Then it was time for a bit of chat, say thank you and goodbye to the residents and wend our merry way home after a brilliant weekend.

I'm not sure if this was put next to the gate in case we didn't go home

A really BIG "Thank You" must go firstly to Sue and Gary for the use of their property and their hospitality and for organising such a great event, to the Ladies who prepared, cooked served and washed up after the meals, the "bar staff" and the men for erecting and taking down the marquee and the lighting. Thanks to you all for making it such a nice relaxing weekend. Oh and by the way, Sue can we do it again next year please? "
